Building a Shelter in Shire Town in Tigray

Children like 11-year-old Asmara and her 1-year-old Bereket need your support. Shown here at the doorway to their living space at Tsehaye primary school in the town of Shire, which has been turned into a temporary shelter. They don’t know where their parents were.

Tigray Child Fund will use your donation to build shelters in select cities and towns in Tigray. Shire town will be our first project. Building shelters include leasing land, building materials, and builders cost to say the least.

Shire town will be our first project since there are thousands of children displaced from western Tigray due to the war. Your donation is much needed and appreciated. It will save lives.
